Unfortunately Liebherr fridges are overpriced in Australia, so we will probably go with an LG as our next model, but not with Bosch anymore. ![]() ![]() I used to have a Liebherr fridge which worked perfectly for many years and I brought it over from Germany when I immigrated to Australia, but it was too small and we switched to the Bosch. As a German I have to say this is very disappointing given that German appliances are supposed to be reliable and well designed, but in Australia we only seem to get the 2nd grade models. Currently one of the door shelves is broken and the crisper lit. Read more being functional as far as cooling is concerned. The problem we are now facing is that we can't even get the replacement parts anymore, despite the fridge. In addition we had to get a new crisper lit and a new door handle, since the design makes them easily break when not perfectly moved back in and one tries to close the door. While our Bosch fridge has been working perfectly as far as cooling is concerned the door shelves kept breaking and we had to re-order replacement shelves several times. I have to fully agree with all the reviews, especially the comments concerning the failing shelves.
